Hii.. i want to learn and refresh my c and c ++ ??

hii.. i want to learn and refresh my c and c ++ knowledge so i want to download turbo c or is there any other???? where shall i download it complete full software.... and pls help to install the turbo c or the other.... i download turbo from cnet but failed to install .....pls do help....and what is a compiler......does turbo c needs to be supported by any other things??????? pls help......
