Bank fraud and what can i do to prevent it from ever happening again?

i recently had bank fraud in my checking account and 2 weeks ago my credit card that i have not even used/activated. this is the 2nd time that's happened to me and it's driving me crazy. idk if it has something to do with my laptop or anything. i carry my card on me AT ALL TIMES and wtf, i got 2-3 unauthorized transactions in my account. what can i do to prevent me from any more fraud in my bank accounts b/c this is driving me crazy and really messed up? and also what causes people to get fraud? i'm so sick of the process to having to close my card and wait for a new one and everything like that.
