Can someone get an Expungement on a felony?

I have a friend in 2006 got caught with cocaine, He got charged with felony possession of cocaine in SOuth Carolina. Within six to seven months later, he was charged with a DUI in Georgia. He was ordered to do a 12 step program every Saturday in Georgia, with successful completion of the program. He has a previous record. He now has a decent job. How hard will it be for him to get this felony charge expunged off his record?
