Is Harry Potter the Devil?

I personally think that people are stupid for saying that because you read Harry Potter, you are going to go join the occult or start worshiping Satan. But I wast honest opinions. Do you think that Harry Potter is a harmless book that teaches children about the power of undying love, friendship, being brave in the face of your enemies, etc? Or do you think that Harry Potter is encouraging children to do witchcraft and join the occult and God is going to damn you straight to hell if you read them? Be honest! I need this for a school project. Thanks! :)
