Why do I have such a problem with female friends?

I find them so untrustworthy and prefer male friends. I'm always told that women are better than men but all of my experiences with women are negative in the end. They always let you down or patronise you and gossip about you behind your back. Men tend to be so much more easier but I wonder if it something I am doing badly which contributes to my poor relationships with women.
