Will radical versions of religions ever be eradicated from the world?

I sincerely hope so. Radical Islam embodies everything that I dislike about religion, racism, persecution, hatred, war, ism. Unfortunately...religion is so deep seeded in every culture now that I don't think we can ever get rid of it, and where there is any religion there will be radicalism, its inevitable.
