My Fiance refuses to talk to me about our wedding?

My fiance doesn't want to talk about our wedding or anything that has to do with it we have been engaged for about 8 mths and he has been previously married I never have so I am all excited about it but how do I make him understand I am not a crazy person like she was and I am not going to do the same things to him that she did she was druggie and left him and her kids I think he has a bad feeling towards all women because of her and if he didn't want to marry me why would he even ask ??? but he says he wants to marry me but he wants to wait until we have the money please help me
